A limited number of low priced rooms have been reserved in nearby university and college dormitories. These rooms include linens, but there are no hotel type services, and bathrooms are shared. Meals are not included. There are a variety of restaurants available in the area of the dormitories. Public buses travel to the conference site, operating approximately every 10 minutes during the week and every 15 minutes on the weekends. A bus pass will be included with your dorm room reservation. Rooms are designed for double occupancy with the rate of $200 per person for the 7-day period of the conference (July 10-17). The maximum number of people per double room is two and a roommate will be assigned if the name of another participant is not indicated on the registration form. All people staying in dormitory rooms must be 18 years or older. There are no facilities in the dormitory for families.
Please use the Dormitory Housing Reservation Form to reserve dormitory space. Reservations, including payment, must be received by noon CDT, May 28th, 1999. Reservations will be accepted on a first received, first assigned basis. Refunds for dormitory housing will not be made after this date.
